Magazine Publisher in 90 Markets  August 2008

"Just thought I would update you real quick, I just made a presentation on the gas cards to a friend of mine who is a regional manager for a magazine publisher. He has a conference call on Monday with his boss and is very excited about this. These guys are in 90 markets throughout the US, so I will keep you updated."

This Could be Huge  August 2008

"Just sold my first set of 100 gas cards (meeting with him in the am to pick up a check) to a guy that is an internet promoter. He signs up customers to sell products on his catalog site. The "broker" sign up costs $486 to join. He is going to offer the $500 gas certificate so they will sign up for free. He is meeting with the CEO of the company this weekend and is going to see if they want to promote this throughout their on-line business. Could be huge."

"This morning my son and I met with a former client of mine who was an executive at a Fortune 500 Company. Today, he and a team of investors are involved in a massive healthcare wellness start-up company. They are currently in negotiations with heavy hitters, big drug pharmaceutical firms and a host of other big names who are partnering to launch their wellness business model. When he saw our program, it literally blew his doors off. He immediately got on the phone half way through the presentation and called his "majority partner" to discuss the possibility of rolling out our gas program on a national level to get Fortune 500 employees to sign up for wellness testing by offering the a $100 gas card to each employee for their participation.

"The first test he suggested we pilot would be with a company that has 14,000 employees. I almost had a heart attack. Still feel a little woozy 5-hours later. That's not all. He called me back a few hours later and has set me up with a major luxury car dealer the first of August to drive traffic into their dealerships. Within hours of our presentation, he had met with the General Manager of the company to discuss what he had just witnessed. They can't wait to get together. It doesn't stop there either. He has also sent an email to another high-end executive friend of his who owns a national call center and said that our solution would ignite his lead generation program. This gentleman is already working with a number of Fortune 500 clients. We are to meet with him after he returns from overseas."

A Lot is Happening  August 2008

  

  • I have two guys ready to make telemarketing calls to businesses for the gas card.   
  • I am in 2 county fairs this and next week to sell an energy saving product that nobody else has around here (a radiant barrier)....I want to offer free gas for allowing me to make a demonstration to them in their home. (I want to quit this as soon as possible!!!)   
  • At the county fairs, I want something in writing to show to business exhibitors that they can attract people to their business with free gas...and then I'll work with them to convert prospects to customers...and work to retain customers in a long term relationship, to help them DOMINATE their markets. Is there anything that you would recommend that I can give to businesses NOW?   
  • This weekend I am the Frank Sinatra entertainment at the annual corporate meeting for the fifty franchisees of TanWorld I WILL plug the gas card!!!"
